Godfrey Labs Book a call

Always learning.
Always building.

Godfrey Labs is a one-person workshop with a simple aim: get a little better every day. The output is a handful of daily-use apps, each built to be used personally and shared with anyone who finds it useful. The real work, though, is the person getting better at making them.

Behind
the workshop.

Neil Godfrey. 10+ years building an enterprise multi-tenant SaaS codebase taught me the craft — the unglamorous discipline of shipping software.

AI-native. AI shapes how the software gets built and what it does. Legacy systems get brought into that world, not left behind.

End to end. Frontend, backend, database, and cloud infrastructure — the whole stack, so an idea goes from sketch to deployed without handing off half of it.

The products below are where I put it to the test — built solo, in the open, with the daily logs at builddaily.io.

Open to
the right fit.

No pitch, no hard sell — just an open door. Every opportunity is a chance to grow, so the door stays open to whatever shape it takes: full-time, contract, or a partnership.

What matters is alignment. When interests line up and a team and a person can genuinely make each other better, committing fully is an easy yes.

A growing team of agents runs the products above — leaving me more time to help others reach their goals.

The door won't stay open forever — there's only room for so much, and the right fit tends to fill it.

The workshop's
open notebook.

The work, out in the open — what shipped, what broke, what's next — logged at builddaily.io. Longer posts when there's a lesson worth writing down. No funnel, no gate.
